- Original Remixing Competition Rules -

Competition Creator: ReaktorZero
Competition Admin: The Orichalcon

ORC runs every week opposite PRC, we hope the stability of the competition will draw more potential remixers and voters to both competitions. All remixes from both competitions will eventually be hosted on the Doulifee's website (www.doulifee.com) The rules for ORC are pretty much the same as those of PRC, you have a week to mix and submit your piece. Everybody then has 3 days to vote and whoever polls the most votes is the winner.

The difference between PRC and ORC is that you're not remixing a piece from a game, but rather an original made by the winner of the past ORC. You have the standard 7 days (until midnight next friday) to submit your piece, and then people have until monday midnight to vote. Absolutely anyone can enter! Doesn't matter if you're a professional mixer or if you just make music for fun, anyone can enter.

The voting system for ORC involves ranking your favourite three mixes in order of who you think should come first, second and third.

For example if we have four entries, A, B, C and D. You place them like this (not necessarily this order):
1st: B
2nd: D
3rd: A

Your first place Vote will be worth 4 points. Second place is worth 2, and third place is worth 1 point. You may not vote more than one piece in each place.
Remixers are allowed to vote, however they cannot vote for themselves. Instead all remixers who vote automatically receive 3 bonus points. In the case of there being only two mixers or less, the remixer has no reason to vote.
You PM your votes to me (The Orichalcon) when I announce the voting period has started. Mixes will be available for download in the first post of the competition thread. I'll post up the results some time on Tuesday
